Why Sanitas?

We started Sanitas Bikes because of our belief that we could hand-fabricate better bikes of greater quality if we controlled all the processes – from initial design to raw materials selection, to manufacturing, and final assembly. It’s a philosophy we stand behind using one simple phrase: Handmade, one by one, right here in Durango, Colorado.

How your bike is made matters. And as you consider your next titanium bike, we want you to see and feel the Sanitas difference.

Our mission is simple …. Hand craft each and every Sanitas frame as if it were our own!

We look forward to building your next dream ride!

What are Customers Saying?

“After a few hundred miles on my Node, I absolutely love it. I’ve owned many Ti brands (and bikes in general) over the years, and I can say it’s my favorite bike. What a smooth ride! Absolute perfection for the task! And looks just beautiful…. One thing I have learned is that not all Ti is created equal, and you guys really know how to work the magic.”

“Rides like a dream on pavement and crushed stone rail trails. This thing jumps forward when I put down some power. Turn in is soooo smooth, and there is no hint of front end wandering or wobbling. It just holds a line and asks to be pushed a little deeper. I have way more confidence on this than previous bikes.”

“Bike is so comfortable and snappy. But my favorite part is descending on it. It’s dialed and you're locked in right where you want to be. I thought I knew why people love ti, but now I get it.
